Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, producer, artist, and multimedia designer Jimmy Lee Wirt lives and works in Los Angeles. He is the producer of The Ralph Nader Radio Hour on Pacifica Radio, in which the renowned author, activist, lecturer, and former presidential candidate interviews movers and shakers from the world of politics, environmentalism, government ethics, social justice, and consumer advocacy. The Ralph Nader Radio Hour is co-hosted by Steve Skrovan, former executive producer of “Everybody Loves Raymond,” and current executive producer of “Hot in Cleveland.”
In addition, Jimmy was the producer of The David Feldman Show (also on Pacifica Radio), the hugely popular weekly talk and comedy show hosted by David Feldman, whose career as a comedy writer has included Dennis Miller Live, Real Time with Bill Maher, The Daily Show, the Academy Awards, and the Emmys. Guests on The David Feldman Show have included Robin Williams, Martin Short, Mort Sahl, Nathan Lane, Bob Saget, Andy Breckman, and Rob Smigel.
Jimmy’s satirical book “Coloring Book Land” was edited by Simon & Schuster senior editor Jeremie Ruby-Strauss and released by Kensington Books. Jimmy was one of the first content providers for the online publishing and entertainment enterprise Rudius Media, founded by Tucker Max (author of “I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell”). Jimmy’s work appeared alongside content by New York Times bestselling author Robert Greene, and investigative journalist Mark Ebner.
As a web designer and graphic artist, Jimmy’s clients have included MGM, NBC, Universal, Elektra Records, Showtime, record producer Kim Fowley, musician Marky Ramone, the TV series “Set List,” and comedians Marc Maron, Paul Provenza, Rick Overton, Bob Rubin, Rick Shapiro, and Laura Kightlinger.
